Know Where You Are Going

A college campus can be difficult to navigate if you haven’t been before. Having visual navigation systems in central locations of the campus makes the life of staff, visitors, and students less stressful. Wayfinding signage is one of the first ways you attempt to figure out where something is.

Old School GPS

The Bellingham Technical College wayfinding signage system contains 6 triangular kiosks installed at key points on the campus. The kiosks are primarily aluminum, painted to match the school colors. They also contain digitally applied graphics with an aerial map of the college.

The kiosks stay fresh and up to date with protected display cases for posters and flyers. Members of the college can add important notices and event information as the school year passes. The kiosks also have LED fixtures that add visibility as students roam the college during darker hours.
