Mikayla joins the Signs Plus team as a Fabricator. When she was 8 years old she would spend time in sign shops with her dad, Dan Townsend. While he worked, she kept busy by cutting vinyl and making her own signage. Fast-forward to today she has jumped from the commercial side of signs over to assist in the assembly of our larger-scale electrical signs. Mikayla has quickly learned how to trim cap letters by hand, populate letters with LEDs, and the basics of preparing signs for final installation.
Mikayla is currently attending Western Oregon University and plans to graduate with a major in American Sign Language. She also graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School where she developed a passion for freelance photography.
